Dr. Surendra Kumar Saini, did his graduation in agriculture, master and doctorate in agronomy from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar. He has 35 year experience of teaching, research and extension in the field of crop management. He has published more than 100 research papers in the national as well as international journals of repute. He is the national project investigator of the All India Coordinated Research Project on Sugarcane (Agronomy), Head Department of Agronomy-cum-Director, Center of Advanced Studies at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar. He has guided 25 M.Sc and 07 Ph.D students. Dr. Subhash Chandra, obtained graduate degree in agriculture and doctorate degree in agronomy from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar and the masters’ in agronomy from PAU, Ludhiana. He served ICAR from October, 1989, till Feb, 2006 as ARS scientist and Senior scientist. Presently, he is actively engaged in teaching, research and extension programme especially in the field of water management at G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Udham Singh Nagar as Chief scientist of water management. He has more than 50 publications in reputed journals to his credit. He was conferred ICAR ‘Team Research’ award for the biennium 2006-07.
