Tracing the historical evolution of extension thought, the volume examines objectives, methods, and theories of extension education, communication, and adult learning, together with the administrative functions of leadership, programme planning, personnel management, and financial control. Due attention is given to evaluation, institutional coordination, and the ethical responsibilities of the extension profession.
