Dr. Deepikesh Joshi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Livestock Production Management at Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar (Punjab). He earned his B.V.Sc. and A.H. in 2016, his M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Livestock Production Management in 2018 and 2023, respectively, from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, GBPUAT, Pantnagar (Uttarakhand). He has qualified the ASRB-NET (2020) and UGC-NET (2022) examinations. Having taught professionally for four years, he has had a major impact on the field with 5 research publications in NAAS-rated national and international journals, 7 conference presentations, 6 book chapters, 32 popular articles, 1 granted design patent and 1 innovative technology that was recognized by the Indian Veterinary Association through its publication in its magazine, "Vet Vision" (April-July 2023 edition). His textbook ‘A Complete Guide to Livestock and Poultry Management’ as a first author has already published in April 2025. He is a lifetime member of the Indian Society of Animal Production and Management (ISAPM) and the Animal Nutrition Society of India (ANSI). He has a strong desire to mend the gap between theory and practicals and is committed to helping students understand and to be interested in mind-bending topics. He intends to conduct future studies on the behaviour of large ruminants alongwith their scientific feeding and housing management. When not engrossed in his studies, he likes to read novels, play table tennis and perform stage-singing. He constantly looks for new methods to get his students excited and involved in practical animal husbandry practices.

Dr. Ankit Sharma is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Livestock Production Management, School of Veterinary Sciences, Abhilashi University, Mandi (H.P.). He has done B.V.Sc. & A.H. from CSKHPKV, Palampur (H.P.), M.V.Sc. (Poultry Science) from DUVASU, Mathura (U.P.) and Ph.D. (Poultry Science) from GBPUAT, Pantnagar (U.K.). He has qualified ASRB-NET (2023) examination. He has published more than 5 research articles and 3 review articles in peer reviewed national and international journals. He has also published 2 book chapters and 10 popular articles. He has 10 months experience of working as an Asstt. R&D Manager at Livestock Scientific Development Association, Indore. He has attended 8 national and international conferences, presented his work and published abstracts. He has reviewed 5 manuscripts for peer reviewed journals. Also, he is a lifetime member of Indian Poultry Science Association.
