The book “Emerging Food Safety Issues and Mitigation Strategies” is an outcome of a knowledge-sharing initiative by the Department of Livestock Products Technology, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Kishanganj, Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna. It reflects our collective effort to understand and address the growing challenges related to food safety in today’s changing world. Food safety has become a matter of global concern, influenced by factors, such as climate change, rapid urbanization, and the rise of antibiotic resistance. These issues are transforming the food landscape, introducing new risks and making it harder to manage existing ones throughout the food supply chain. This book brings together the insights of experts on emerging threats, recent policy developments, and innovative approaches to ensure safer food for all. We hope it will serve as a useful resource for students, professionals, and all those committed to building a safe and sustainable food system.
