"Cutting-Edge Approaches in Veterinary Anatomy" brings together pioneering perspectives and innovative methodologies that are redefining the scope of anatomical sciences in veterinary education, research, and clinical practice. This edited volume unites contributions from distinguished anatomists, clinicians, and researchers across India, presenting an authoritative collection of chapters that bridge classical anatomical knowledge with modern technological advancements. The book spans a diverse spectrum of topics, from anatomical models, imaging techniques, electron microscopy, and 3D bioprinting, to forensic applications, genome editing, stem cell research, and digital necropsy approaches. It also explores specialized themes, such as visual cognition in birds, gut–brain axis in livestock health, surgical anatomy of horses and bovines, and species identification in wildlife forensics. Together, these chapters illustrate how veterinary anatomy continues to evolve as a dynamic discipline, shaping innovations in diagnostics, therapeutics, and animal welfare. Designed for veterinary students, educators, researchers, and professionals, this volume not only strengthens foundational anatomical understanding but also offers forward-looking insights into emerging frontiers. By integrating traditional anatomical rigor with cutting-edge technologies, it aspires to inspire the next generation of veterinary anatomists and allied scientists.
