Dr. Shumaila Taskeen (Chief Editor) is serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Public Health and Epidemiology at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS), Amritsar. She holds a doctorate from GADVASU, Ludhiana and an M.V.Sc. from ICAR-IVRI, Bareilly. She has an accomplished academic career with prestigious Vice Chancellor’s Silver medal in B.V.Sc. & A.H., Gold Medal in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology, multiple merit awards (B.V.Sc. & A.H.), All India Rank (19)-JRF in ICAR-PG entrance, UGC-NET and JRF in Ph.D., research awards, and Savitribai Phule Women’s Acheivers Award, 2026. Further, Dr. Taskeen is a recipient of Mentorship at International Student One Health Alliance (ISOHA 2026), and holds an administrative position of Secretary, International Affairs in SBSRM society. Till date, she has served as a Chief-editor, co-editor, peer-reviewer (National and International Journals) and published 24 publications including research articles, popular articles, book chapters and teaching manuals. Beyond her scientific contributions, Dr. Taskeen is actively engaged in strengthening professional networking within the veterinary community. She is the founder of the LinkedIn community “Veterinary Professionals of India – Career, Growth and Industry” and the Telegram platform “VETERINARYJOBALERTS”, initiatives aimed at bridging the gap between recruiters and veterinary graduates and facilitating career opportunities within the veterinary profession.
Dr. Muqtaza Manzoor (Chief Editor), currently serving as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex at Khalsa College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (KCVAS), Amritsar. He completed his M.V.Sc. from the College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. With over eleven years of professional experience, Dr. Manzoor has served in diverse capacities including as a Veterinary Clinician at the Veterinary Hospital, Qatar, as well as providing clinical and reproductive management services at KCVAS, Amritsar and Hariya Dairy Farm, Uttar Pradesh. His extensive field exposure and academic engagement have enabled him to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical veterinary applications. Dr. Manzoor has contributed significantly to the field through numerous research publications, review articles, case reports, book chapters, and scientific abstracts. His scholarly work reflects a strong commitment to advancing veterinary reproductive science and disseminating practical knowledge for veterinarians, students, and researchers. Additionallly, Dr. Manzoor is serving as a Co-founder of LinkedIn community “Veterinary Professionals of India–Career, Growth and Industry” and the Telegram platform “VETERINARYJOBALERTS”.
