As we know repeat breeding in dairy cattle is a serious and common problem for all the dairy farmers as it reduces the milk yields. Some times the field veterinarians and even expert fail to diagnose the case, because various etiological factors are responsible for this and the treatment is also varies according to the cause. So, we the both author try to give the detail knowledge of the repeat breeding syndrome, its causes, various diagnostic as well as different therapeutic management techniques, so that it can be diagnose properly and treated accordingly as discussed. Dibyajyoti Talukdar was born on 22nd July, 1983 in Kamrup district of Assam. He has earned B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. After graduation he worked as a Veterinary consultant for the period of three years at Gana Satirtha Manch, Human Resourse Development Organisation, N.G.O. He has completed his M.V.Sc. degree with distinction in the year 2010 from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat in the discipline Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics. He worked as a Research Associate at ICAR MSP on Pig, AAU, Khanapara for the period of one year. After that he joined doctoral progrmme in the year 2011 and he completed his Ph D degree in the discipline Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat with distinction in the year 2014. He has completed ICARNET in the discipline Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics. After completing Ph D degree, he worked as a Project Scientist at Mugagen Laboratories Pvt. Ltd., IIT Guwahati for the period of one year. Presently he is working as a Teaching Associate at Department of Animal Reproduction, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram, India. He has published one book, twenty six research articles at different national and international journals, two manuals and several popular articles and folder. He has attended many national and international seminars, symposium and refresher training courses. Now- a-days he is actively involved in teaching, research and extension activities at College of Veterinary Sciences & Animal Husbandry, Central Agricultural University, Selesih, Aizawl, Mizoram, India.
Papori Talukdar was born on 22nd April, 1986 in Kamrup district of Assam. She has earned B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. After graduation she joined master degree programme and she completed her M.V.Sc. degree with distinction in the year 2012 from Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat in the discipline Animal Nutrition. She has completed ICAR-NET in the discipline Animal Nutrition. She worked as a Project Assistant at ICAR NRC on Pig, Guwahati for the period of six months. After that she joined doctoral progrmme in the year 2012 at NDRI, Karnal and she completed her Ph D degree in the year 2016 in the discipline Dairy Cattle Nutrition. After completing Ph D degree, she joined as an Assistant Professor, Department of Animal Nutrition, Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar, Punjab, India. She has published one book, one book chapter, twelve research articles at different national and international journals, and several popular articles and folder. She has attended many national and international seminars, symposium and refresher training courses. Now- a-days she is actively involved in teaching, research and extension activities at Khalsa College of Veterinary & Animal Sciences, Amritsar, Punjab.
