Dr Tahir Ali started his career in 1993, as soil surveyor in Water and Power Consultancy Services India Limited (WAPCOS), thereafter he worked for Maharashtra Hybrid Seed Co. Ltd., India (MAHYCO) as officer quality control from 1995 to 1998. He joined Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir as Assistant Professor, in the Division of Soil Science on 24-11-1998 and has been working as Professor since September, 2009. He has 19 years of teaching and research experience and has guided 5 M.Sc. and 6 Ph. D students. He has published 50 research papers in various journals of national and international repute , technical bulletin , book chapters and published one book.

Dr. Ab Shakoor Khanday passed B.Sc. (Ag.) from Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and Technology of Kashmir in 2005.He did his masters in soil science and water management in 2007 from Y.S.P.U.H & F, Nauni Solan as ICAR sponsored candidate. He did his Ph.D from G.B.P.U.A & T Pantnagar as ICAR SRF candidate. In addition to having qualified ICAR NET, he has experience of working as SRF and PDF. He joined SKUAST as subject matter specialist in 2013 and since then has been carrying out extension and teaching activities. He has ten research publications to his credit.
