Livestock Production Management is an enormous subject and management practices could vary from place to place within the country. However, basic principles of livestock production and management remain unchanged and should adhere to the conclusive results of various research outcomes. The content of this manual has been planned keeping in consideration of new syllabus of B. V. Sc. & A. H. recommended by Veterinary Council of India (2016). This manual presents the management aspect of livestock- restraining, feeding, breeding, housing, control of diseases and economic feasibility of livestock.
