Dr. Manas Ranjan Nayak is a Scientist (Agroforestry) working in the Krishi Vigyan Kendra, OUAT, Bhubaneswar, Odisha (India). He has more than 2 year of experience in research and extension in the field of forestry and agroforestry. He received his B. Sc. (Forestry) and M. Sc. (Forestry) from Orissa University of Agriculture and Technology, Bhubaneswar, India and Ph.D Forestry (Agroforestry) at Navsari Agricultureal University, Gujurat. He was the recipient of Merit Scholarscip during M.Sc., University Gold Medal from OUAT, Bhubaneswar, INSPIRE Fellowship, from DST, Govt. of India. He has qualified ICAR-SRF, ICAR-NET examination in agroforestry. He has more than 20 research papers published in various national and international journals and also published popular articles on forestry, Agroforestry and environmental aspects. He was participated in several national and international conferences, seminars, workshop/training, summer school and presented oral and poster presentation in the thematic area of forestry, Agroforestry, Biodiversity and climate change.
