This Book has been prepared for the Veterinary Students who are learning the nuances of Veterinary Physiology. Practical Veterinary Physiology has been suffering from lack of a suitable book on the subject. The intent of this manual is to introduce students to physiology laboratory techiques and procedures to students, and to help students learn how to use these techiques to investigate the importance of physiological investigations in clinical practice of domestic animals.

Dr. Govind Sahay Gottam is head of department of veterinary physiology and biochemistry at post graduate institude of veterinary education and research. Dr. Gottam has vast experience of teaching veterinary physiology to B.V.sc. students for many years as well as PG students.

Dr. Pavan Kumar Mittal has been teaching veterinary physiology for several years at PGIVER and has a unique method of teaching. He did his Masters in Veterinary Physiology from DUVASU, Mathura.

Dr. Barkha Gupta has been teaching Veterinary Biochemistry as well as clinical physiology at CVAS, Udaipur and PGIVER Jaipur. She has earlier Served in Various Capacities in the Department of Animal Husbandry , Govt. Of Rajasthan. She has several publication and awards  to her credit .

Dr. S.K. Jindal working as retired professor at PGIVER, Jaipur has many years of experience to his credit. Dr. Jindal obtained his masters and Ph.D. from NDRI, Karnal , and Has worked at ICAR-IVRI, CIRB AND CIRG for 41 years.

Dr. D.R. Bilochi has vast experience in teaching and Animals Husbandry practices in the field.
