He has a vast experience in conducting strategic research, guiding, teaching post graduate students, conducting national / international training programmes and carrying out agricultural extension activities in the farmers field. He is an accredited entrepreneurial motivational trainer. He has to his credit researchers on highly relevant topics like assessment, refinement of agricultural technologies, peri-urban agriculture and entrepreneurship development conducted as part of funded projects from reputed national / international organization. He has contributed a lot as Founder President, Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development. He has published 105 research papers and about 300 articles in reputed, magazines and newspaper, published 50 books, bulletins and is editor of journals of repute like Journals of Community Mobilization for Sustainable Development.

Dr. Nishi Sharma, Presently Serving as Senior Scientist at Centre for Agricultural Technology Assessment and Transfer, Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi. She has Specialization in Home Science and Agricultural Extension and is Serving the agricultural profession for more than three decades. Dr. Sharma has vast experience in the field of extension research, transfer of agricultural technology and capacity building programmes of agricultural officials and progressive farmers. She is member of several national and international professional societies and editors of journal of Society for Community Mobilization for Sustainable Developments.
