Tissue repair is an essential process to maintain the function and integrity of body in response to variety of injuries. The main aim in tissue repair is the restoration of structural and functional continuity of living tissue. It is a fundamental process and vital for survival of animals. This book highlights mechanism underneath various regenerative processes viz. wound repair, fracture repair, repair after burn injuries. It gives a comprehensive idea about the repair and regeneration of tissues along with its management in various types of trauma. Dr. Narendra Singh Jadon started his career as Assistant Professor, Surgery & Radiology in 1984 and became Associate Professor (1997) and Professor (2001) and Dean, College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences since February 2020. He served UAE Government, 2000-2002. He guided 25 Masters and 08 Ph.D., published 07 books, 140 research papers in National/International journals and developed 05 monographs. He handled 05 externally funded projects and filed 03 patents. He is Fellow of various National Academies and Societies. He has received Dr. BirBahadur Singh Best Scientist Award and Outstanding Alumnus Award of G.B. Pant University and Hari Om Ashram Trust Award by ICAR.
Dr. Sara Kaushal has passed Matriculation and Intermediate in 2012 and 2014,respectively from Him Academy Public School, Hamirpur, Himanchal Pradesh. She has obtained B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree from Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry, SKUASTJ, R.S. Pura, Jammu in 2019. Thereafter, she completed Master’s degree in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology from GBPUAT, Pantnagar in 2021. She has been recipient of ICAR NTS fellowship during M.V.Sc. She has qualified ICAR-NET in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2021.
Dr. Jyotsana Bhatt has completed her B.V.Sc. and A.H. degree from GBPUAT, Pantnagar in 2015 with Vice-Chancellor’s Silver medal. She has been recipient of Junior Research Fellowship from ICAR with All India Rank-02 during M.V.Sc. degree programme (Veterinary Surgery and Radiology) from ICAR-IVRI in 2015-17. She has completed her Ph.D. (Veterinary Surgery & Radiology) from GBPUAT, Pantnagar in 2021. She has received Senior Research Fellowship from Indian Council of Medical Research in 2018-2021 during Ph.D. She has qualified ICAR- NET in Veterinary Surgery & Radiology in 2017 and UGC–NET in Social Medicine and Community Health in 2018.
