The book illustrates each and every topic in easy language supported with relevant examples and exercises for the benefit of readers. Therefore, the present book will be of immense use to B.Sc. (Ag.) students as well as teachers in Agricultural Universities. 

Dr. Chandra Dev is Associate Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agricultural Economics, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He completed his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural Economics from R.B.S. College, Bichpuri, Agra University, Agra. He has more than 15 years of experience in teaching and research. Having specialization in “Farm Management”, he has published 33 research papers, 6 chapters in books, 30 popular articles and more than 20 abstracts and has guided three students of masters’level.

Dr. Virendra Singh is Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. Dr. Singh did his M.Sc. (Ag.) (Agricultural Economics) from Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture & Technology, Kanpur, UP and Ph.D. (Agricultural Economics) from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand. Having served as a lecturer in Agricultural Economics at BRD P.G. College, Devoria, UP for one and half years, he joined G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar as Assistant Professor. His contribution includes teaching a number of courses at UG and PG levels more than 20 years. He has published more than 40 research papers, book chapters, articles, etc. and has guided about 25 students at masters’ and doctoral level.

Dr. Anil Kumar obtained his Master’s and Doctorate degrees from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture & Technology, Pantnagar. Currently he is Professor in the Department of Agricultural Economics, G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He has over 20 years of experience in teaching, training and research and has guided Master’s and Ph.D. students for their thesis dissertation in the field of agricultural economics. His major areas of interest include: agricultural marketing & trade, farm management, and econometrics. He has published severalresearch papers in national and international journals and has completed couple of ad-hoc research projects on price analysis and forecasting. 

Dr. Nikhil Pratap Singh obtained B.Sc. (Ag.) degree from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar. He did his MBA from National Academy of Agricultural Research Management, Hyderabad and doctorate degree from Shri Venkateshwara University, U.P. He is serving as Academic Associate in Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad. His contribution includes teaching a number of courses of Agribusiness Management at P.G. level for more than 5 years. He has published 5 research papers, 2 books and 5 technical articles in different national and international journals
