Jyoti Kachroo has remained gold medalist (Two) and meritorious throughout her academic career, graduated and Post-graduate (Economics) from University of Jammu, Jammu & Kashmir. She was initially appointed as lecturer (Economics) in Govt. Degree College, Jammu and later joined the division of Agricultural Economics and Statistics, SKUAST Jammu as Associate Professor. Presently she is Professor and Head, Division of Agricultural Economics & Agri-Business Management. Her field of expertise is Women empowerment, agricultural production economics, marketing and econometric model based research. She has published about more than 90 articles which include chapters, popular articles, review papers and about 65 research publications in referred journals. She has been honored with D.T.Doshi Foundation Award for best presentation. She has more than 26 years experience of teaching and research and she has guided 20 research scholars.
