Dr. Rukmani Dewangan is Assistant Professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Anjora, Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya (DSVCKV), Durg (C.G.) since July 2012. She has also been selected as Veterinary Assistant Surgeon (VAS) in 2010 under C.G. Livestock Development Department (Vety Deptt) and served for two and half years. She has completed her B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree with First division and M.V.Sc. (Veterinary Surgery) with Honours from College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Anjora, Durg (Chhattisgarh) and obtained Ph.D. degree in 2010 from Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI), Izatnagar, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh) under the guidance of Dr. A.K. Sharma. She has qualified twice National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR-ASRB, New Delhi. She has got 11 years of experience in teaching, research and extension work in the field of Veterinary Surgery. She has guided 04 M.V.Sc. students as Major Advisor and published 86 research/clinical/ review/popular articles in various International and National Scientific Journals. She has been recipient of different awards at various scientific platforms viz., Best Young Faculty Award, Young Scientist, Outstanding Scientist, Appreciation Award in Best Oral presentation, Bharat Vidya Ratan Award, Dr. A. P. J. Abdul Kalam Education Excellence Award and Inspiring Lady Veterinarian Award, etc. She is also life member of various professional organizations.
Dr. Ramesh Tiwary is Assistant Professorin the Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Bihar Veterinary College, Bihar Animal Sciences University, Patna since 2011. He served as Veterinary Officer in the Department of Animal Husbandry, Government of Jharkhand for three years. He obtained his B.V.Sc. & A.H. degree from WBUA & F.Sc. Kolkata in 2002 and M.V.Sc. and Ph.D. in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from IVRI, Izatnagar, Bareilly, U.P. He has been awarded with NTSC fellowship during B.V.Sc. & A.H. and JRF of ICAR during his M.V.Sc. degree. He has qualified CSIR-life science NET as well as NET conducted by ICAR in subject of Veterinary Surgery and Veterinary Surgery and Anatomy. He has got 12 years of experience in teaching, research and extension work in the field of Veterinary Science particularly Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. He has guided two M.V.Sc. students as major advisor and one Ph.D. student as Co-Guide. He has also published good number of research publications in reputed peer reviewed journals. He is also a member of many professional societies.
Dr. Shailendra Kumar Tiwari, Dean, College of Veterinary Science & A.H. and Professor & Head, Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, Co V.Sc. & A.H., Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya (DSVCKV), Durg (C.G.) was born on 1st June, 1962 at Maihar, Distt. Satna (M.P.). Dr. Tiwari obtained his B.V.Sc. & A.H. and M.V.Sc. and A.H. degree from J.N.K.V.V., Jabalpur (M.P.) in 1983 and 1988 respectively with Gold Medal in both the degree. Dr. Tiwari obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1996 from G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand under the guidance of renowned Surgeon Prof. (Dr.) Amresh Kumar and received “Jawaharlal Nehru Award” of ICAR for Best Ph.D. thesis in 1998. Dr. Tiwari has 32 years experience of teaching, research and extension work in the field of Veterinary Science He has guided 29 M.V.Sc. and 1 Ph.D. student. Dr. Tiwari is recipient of several awards viz., R.K. Gamgbeer Gold Medal, Behre Gold Medal, Patwardhan Gold Medal, Bharat Jyoti Award, A.K. Bhargava Memorial, ICAR Junior Fellowship, ICAR Senior Fellowship, Common Wealth Fellowship, etc. and published 275 research papers in reputed journals of India and abroad. Recently, he has been elected as Executive Member of NAVS wef 2020-2023.
Dr. Raju Sharda is Professor in Department of Veterinary Surgery and Radiology, College of Veterinary Science & A.H., Anjora, Dau Shri Vasudev Chandrakar Kamdhenu Vishwavidyalaya (DSVCKV), Durg (C.G.). Dr. Sharda obtained his B.V.Sc. & A.H. and M.V.Sc. degree in Veterinary Surgery and Radiology from C.C.S. H.A.U., Hissar (Haryana) in 1986 and 1991 respectively. Dr. Sharda obtained his Ph.D. degree in May 1999 from G.B.P.U.A.T., Pantnagar, Uttarakhand under Dr. Amresh Kumar as Major Advisor. He was Professor and Head from May 2015 upto January 2020. His academic achievements are University Merit Scholarship during M.V.Sc. degree, qualified National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by ICAR in 1991, selected in ARS, ICAR Seniorfellowship (Ph.D.), Bharat Jyoti Award, etc. Presently he is also a member of NAVS and ISVS. Dr. Sharda has 30 years experience of teaching, research and extension work in the field of Veterinary Science particularly Veterinary Surgery and Radiology. He has guided 11 M.V.Sc. students and Ph.D. students. Dr. Sharda has published 145 research papers in reputed Journals of India and abroad.
