The present manual entitled "Practical Manuals of Phytopathology" has been written exclusively for students offering knowledge in the field of Plant Pathology as a foremost area under discussion at graduate and post-graduate level core courses approved by most of the universities. To a great extent, it has been written on diverse aspect of plant pathology as well as acquaintance with various laboratory equipments, learning of microscope procedures, collection and preservation of disease specimens, Preparation of media, isolation and Koch’s Postulates. However, general study of different structures of fungi, study of symptoms of various plant diseases, study of representative fungal genera, transmission of plant viruses, study of morphological features and identification of plant parasitic nematodes, sampling and extraction of nematodes from soil and plant material, preparation of nematode mounting, staining and identification of plant pathogenic bacteria, study of phanerogamic plant parasites and methods of finding and identification of pathogens in seeds. Last but not least this manual covers all the aspects on different characteristic of the science in the discipline of plant pathology have been described in organized manner.
