The horticulture sector is considered as the most dynamic and sustainable segment of agriculture all over the world. It covers per and pre and post-harvest management of a wide spectrum of crops including fruits, vegetable, flowering and aromatic plants, tuber crops, mushrooms, spices and plantation crops. Fruit science is a vibrant sector of horticulture which plays a key role in our economy. This book owes its origin to the sincere and hardworking analysis of question being asked in examination, being conducted by ASRB, ARS, SRF, JRF/NET and various Agricultural Universities. This had forced us to write a book with not only of previous years exam paper but also with plenty of modal papers along with good quality questions with relevant information of several aspects of fruit science. The main objective of this book is to help the readers to quickly grasp the facts comprehensively and systematically from various parts of fruits crops like- Subtropical, tropical, temperate and minor fruit crops. However, I should consider my labour well rewarded only if this book serves the needs of all concerned.
