Dr. Rakesh Kumar is an Assistant Professor at Department of Veterinary Pathology, Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University’s Dr. G.C. Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. The Indian Association of Veterinary Pathologists (IAVP) honoured him with the Prof. S. Ramachandran Young Scientist Award. He has almost 5 years of experience working on Himalayan medicinal herbs, and he has multiple publications to his name. He specialises in molecular and immunological techniques, such as real-time PCR, ELISA immunoassays, immunohistochemistry, molecular docking, and conventional pathology. He is researching animal diseases, with a focus on cancer.

Prof. R.K. Asrani is a Professor and Head of the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University’s Dr. G.C. Negi College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences in Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. He has worked on the preventive effect of medicinal plants on various animal models, such as rats, mice, poultry, and quail against hepatocellular cancer, liver damage, kidney damage, and infection with typhoid and E. coli. He is well-versed in lesion scoring and grading systems, histology, immunohistochemistry, and transmission electron microscopy. He has published the findings in prestigious international journals. He has received several awards and has travelled extensively overseas.

Dr. R.D. Patil is an Associate Professor in the Department of Veterinary Pathology at Himachal Pradesh Agricultural University’s College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences, Palampur, Himachal Pradesh, India. He has 12 years of experience working on medicinal plants and neonatal calf mortality and is a key member of the department’s research team. He has over 50 articles in prestigious national and international journals.
