Thus, tried to write a small composed form of knowledges if any short comings found in the book definitely will be corrected in further edition.

Dr. Adikant Pradhan combines the experiences gained from protected cultivation done as researcher under green house systems and also involved the many years experiences of outstanding growers, teachers etc. He has done the Doctor of Philosophy on protected cultivation under different aspects of nutritional and crop management as beginner and learners, and working as scientist Agronomy and teaching as well the courses relevant to protected cultivation at S. G. College of Agriculture and Research Station, IGKV, Jagdalpur from last ten years.

Dr. Pradhan has been vested interests in protected agriculture with efficient resource management under stress environment since ever increasing population pressure on limiting food baskets of the country led to hungry and working model for low cost techniques in changing scenario of demand to make it every body’s science. So far as he is involved in experiential learning for under graduate students belong to agricultural studies of protected agriculture and consulting the people found them as commercial cultivation of high value crops.

The author has already published number of research papers in national and international repute journals for communicating the findings to the relevant people; articles, pamphlets, manuals, booklets and lectures to farmers and improved farmers has been given by him as per their requirements. He is principal investigator of various projects sponsored by All India Coordinated Research Projects, Department of Science and Technology and National Agricultural Innovative Project. Simultaneously deeply involved in projects for different aspects or burning issues.
